Status: Part Time Hourly

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of the Position: This is an hourly part-time position providing mentorship and advocacy for youth and families throughout Greene.

• The ideal candidate will be dependable committed and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community school and home settings.
• The Primary responsibilitiesof the Advocate are to initiate organize plan develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
• All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
• This position offers flexible hours competitive weekly pay mileage ($0.50/mile) and activity reimbursement.

Hourly Rate: $21 per hour

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Prior experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
• Experience working with at-risk youth
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Reliable insured transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance coverage.
