We are seeking an experienced and skilled Bakery Manager to join our bakery team in Hawley, PA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining high-quality standards while meeting food and labor cost goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute all bakery operations, including wholesale and retail.
- Develop menus and recipes.
- Manage food, labor, and recipe costing.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization.
- Create weekly schedules and manage staffing.
- Oversee inventory and sourcing of food and supplies.
- Manage HR and payroll.
- Ensure consistency and quality control.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to promote sales.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of culinary training (A.O.S/A.S Culinary Degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in baking and pastry arts (supervisory experience required).
- Knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations.
- Current Safe Food Handler certificate (a plus).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, manage time, and meet deadlines.
- Physical ability to lift 50lbs or more.
- Availability to work flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
