TSR is seeking a Jr. Designer to work with one of the largest EPC firms in the country at a site in Fort Madison, IA. This is an exciting opportunity will provide growth and will be mentored to become a valuable, long-term team member.

Job Description

• Under direct supervision by project engineers and design manager develop the following designs using Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software: Electrical schematics, Single line diagrams, Process and instrument diagrams, Equipment arrangement floor plans, Piping diagrams, and Civil /structural diagrams. Process piping, electrical and civil design experience is a plus but not required.
• Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) training is required; experience in CAD is a plus but not required. The site team uses MicroStation.
• SAP Requisitions. Data entry of requisitions request in the SAP system.
• Ability to learn is required as this position will require understanding of multiple design disciplines and other software applications, i.e. SAP, Excel.

Physical Requirements

• Work is located at an ink manufacturing plant and requires exposure to ambient temperature extremes.
• Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as fire-retardant clothing, hearing and eye protection, hard hat and steel-toed boots.
• Day-to-day physical requirements involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs. frequently, etc.
• Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking up stairs.
• May require walking the project property.
