Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated  Concrete Superintendent to oversee and manage all phases of concrete construction on a large-scale project located in Wawayanda, NY. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the concrete industry and a proven track record of success in a superintendent role. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of concrete construction practices.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily field operations related to concrete construction, including formwork, placement, finishing, and curing
• Supervise crews and subcontractors to ensure work is performed safely, on time, and in compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to maintain project schedule and resolve any field issues
• Conduct daily jobsite meetings and safety briefings
• Monitor project budgets and material usage
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and production
• Provide input on constructability, cost-saving opportunities, and project planning

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the concrete construction industry
• Proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar leadership role
• In-depth knowledge of concrete construction techniques and processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project schedules
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, 60 hours per week, Monday through Friday (weekends off)
• Must be willing to travel to Wawayanda, NY

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $135,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
