Job Description

Our client is seeking a talented Copywriter to create clear, engaging content that brings the brand to life across digital campaigns, product marketing, and thought leadership. This role partners closely with designers, marketers, and product teams to deliver compelling copy that communicates complex HR tech topics in a simple, human way.

Copywriter Responsibilities:

• Write and edit copy for digital ads, emails, landing pages, social, sales collateral, and product marketing assets.
• Create long-form content such as blogs, case studies, and guides to support demand generation and brand awareness.
• Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to concept and execute creative ideas.

Copywriter Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
• 3–5 years of copywriting experience, ideally in SaaS, HR tech, or B2B environments.
• Portfolio showcasing strong short- and long-form writing.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to translate technical information into customer-friendly messaging.
• Familiarity with HR or SaaS industry language.

This is a W2 Contract position and will be paid at an hourly rate up to $27/hr. This role has potential for health, dental and vision benefits within 30 days of start. Holiday and personal days off are unpaid days other than potential to accrue eligible hours under the Illinois Paid Leave Act should the individual be local.
