About the Role
As a Dental Assistant, you will work directly with our pediatric dentists to assist with a variety of dental procedures and help our young patients have a pleasant experience each time they visit.
Responsibilities:
Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere , building trust with young patients and their families for a stress-free visit.
Educate children and their parents on proper oral care and the importance of regular dental checkups, making learning fun and accessible.
Accurately maintain patient records, including medical history, treatment notes, and any relevant observations, ensuring thorough charting and documentation.
Keep the clinical area spotless and well-organized , strictly following infection control protocols, such as regular sterilization of instruments, to maintain safety and hygiene.
Prepare treatment rooms prior to patient arrival by ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready and available.
Assist in taking and processing dental X-rays as needed, following all safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
Current Dental Assistant (DA) Certification , X Ray license, Infection Control, and CPR certification.
Successful completion of the initial online assessment provided during the application process.
Availability to work some weekends
Strong positive and friendly attitude , with excellent interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment for patients and families.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations.
⚖ Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
Dedicated to providing compassionate patient care and contributing to a supportive, friendly clinic atmosphere.
Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively with both administrative and clinical teams to ensure efficient office operations and high-quality patient care.
