LA is seeking a full-time Design Assistant to join our team of passionate team of creatives working with some of the best clients in the entertainment industry. You will join a team of Design Assistants who work closely with our creative team(s) to support the development and execution of creative projects across multiple mediums. This role is on-site in Downtown Los Angeles.

What You’ll Do:
  • Assist in the creation of visual assets for various projects, including but not limited to digital graphics, presentations, illustrations, and design
  • Collaborate with designers to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and bring creative visions to life
  • Conduct research and gather inspiration from a variety of sources to inform design concepts and solutions
  • Support the production process by organizing files, managing assets, and preparing materials for client presentations and project deliverables
  • Assist with photo editing, retouching, and image manipulation as needed
  • Contribute to the maintenance and organization of the design studio, including file management and asset libraries
  • Stay up-to-date on design trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve skills and contribute fresh ideas to the team
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
  • Provide general administrative support to the design team, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating project logistics

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software
  • Excellent design sense with a strong understanding of typography, layout, and composition
  • Creative thinker with a passion for exploring new ideas and pushing creative boundaries
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Previous experience or internships in a design-related role is a plus

  • This is a nonexempt, hourly role. The pay range for this position in selected location is $16.50-$17.55/hr

  • Ability to work on-site at our office location for the duration of regular business hours.

    • Ability to create and edit presentations and participate in the delivery of presentations, which may involve standing and speaking for short periods.

    • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, for detailed review of project assets and quality control checks; and the ability to adjust focus, for detailed work.
  • Utilization of technology:
    • Regular use of computer equipment and software tools, including Adobe CS, Keynote, and project management tools (e.g., Wrike), requiring manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
  • Multi-tasking:
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at a time with a strict attention to detail, which may involve shifting focus between tasks.
