Position Title: Endoscopy Technician (Endo Tech)

A reputable healthcare facility in Ithaca, NY is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician for a 13-week contract assignment. This role is essential to supporting endoscopic procedures by assisting clinical staff, ensuring proper equipment handling, and maintaining a sterile and safe procedural environment.
Key Responsibilities:Assist physicians and nurses during GI and endoscopic procedures
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot endoscopy equipment
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopic instruments according to strict infection control standards
Support patients before, during, and after procedures as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical and safety protocols
Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Endoscopy Technician
Strong familiarity with GI/endoscopy equipment and procedures
Knowledge of infection control standards and sterile processing techniques
