Job Description Lettermans is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Entry-Level Estimator to join our team in Denham Springs. This is a newly created position ideal for someone with a working knowledge of construction drawings and an interest in signage and graphics. The estimator will play a key role in reviewing bid opportunities and preparing accurate takeoffs and bid submissions for specialty signage and print projects.
Lettermans bids a wide range of commercial projects, with a focus on:
- ADA Braille Signage
- Wayfinding Signage Systems
- Custom Printed Wallcoverings
Key Responsibilities: - Review project opportunities from customer portals, ConstructConnect, and the business development team
- Evaluate scope and determine project fit based on Lettermans’ capabilities
- Conduct takeoffs from construction documents and architectural plans
- Prepare RFIs, prior approval submittals, and seek clarification from architects or contractors when needed
- Assemble final bid packages for submission to general contractors or internal team members
- Track bid submissions and maintain records in coordination with sales and operations
- Support the continuous improvement of estimating processes and accuracy
Qualifications: - Associate degree, some college coursework, or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Familiarity with construction plans, specifications, and estimating concepts
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email tools
- Strong written communication skills for professional correspondence
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
Working Hours: - Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
