Job Description:
Our client, a well-established public accounting firm with over 50 years of success in Lake County, Illinois, is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join their team. What You'll Do:
Prepare and plan individual and corporate income taxes
Compile and review financial statements
Prepare payroll and sales tax returns
Perform bookkeeping services
Support audit engagements
Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to clients
What You'll Bring:
5+ years of experience in public accounting
Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting
CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification
Proficiency in Lacerte, UltraTax, Accounting CS, and QuickBooks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage sensitive information with discretion
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $81,000-$90,000 per year
