Job Description

Kimble Recycling & Disposal, Inc., is seeking a  Fleet and Logistics Manager  for our Trucking Division based in Dover, Ohio. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a fleet of trucks and trailers, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve profitability and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and oversee fleet maintenance programs.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage drivers, supervisors, and dispatchers, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns, adapting operations to meet business needs.
  • Conduct field inspections, audits, and safety checks to maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company policies.
  • Prepare and analyze reports to inform business decisions, leveraging critical thinking to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing fleets and working with end-dump commodities.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in logistics, operations, and fleet management with a history of increasing profitability.
  • CDL preferred; knowledge of maintenance protocols for trucking fleets required.
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • Advanced communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
