Overview
Stella Niagara Education Park is seeking a Fundraising Event Coordinator to plan and administer two special events each year, oversee the Annual Fund (fundraising appeal) and maintain the institution’s donor database. Responsibilities include working with volunteers and overseeing all aspects of events as well as achieving fundraising goals. This part-time position will work in collaboration with the Director of Marketing and Admissions to manage the school’s external relations function.

Since its founding in 1908, Stella Niagara Education Park has provided an exceptional educational experience that embodies the Franciscan heritage in an academic atmosphere that nurtures students physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. Classes ranging from Montessori Pre-K through eighth grade are provided on the 104-acre campus adjacent to the Niagara River in Lewiston. Stella Niagara offers small class sizes (12:1 student-teacher ratio), an outstanding core curriculum, a full complement of special subjects (art, music, physical education, technology, and more), foreign language beginning in Third Grade, and the innovative, integrated Outdoor Education curriculum.
Position duties and responsibilities
The Fundraising Events Coordinator will provide leadership for the successful operation of two special events (Walk for Peace; Key Event) as well as administering an Annual Fund solicitation. The position is part-time estimated at 30-hours per week. Specific duties include:

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years event experience (fundraising events preferred) and technical strengths (comfort managing/learning technology).
