Job Description

Our Gaming Studio Client is seeking a Principal Game Producer to lead cross-functional teams in creating innovative content and experiences for their players. This role involves driving collaboration, overcoming obstacles, and ensuring the successful delivery of products. You will support all stages of production, from concept to delivery.

Principal Game Producer

Hybrid Locations: SF Bay Area, Los Angeles, or Seattle, USA

Responsibilities:

  • Develop product and feature roadmaps with multi-disciplinary teams and leadership.
  • Establish and manage delivery schedules and roadmaps for project milestones.
  • Facilitate team rituals, meetings, and discussions.
  • Ensure clarity and accuracy in project status for the team and stakeholders.
  • Align strategic work between disciplines and project objectives.
  • Keep partners informed and engaged in project progress.
  • Continuously improve production processes for better velocity, collaboration, and visibility.
  • Manage work practices, including JIRA ownership and scrum management.
  • Foster a safe and healthy feedback culture within the team.
  • Mentor other production team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of production experience in dynamic environments (games, tech, entertainment/media).
  • 7+ years of game development production experience.
  • 3+ years of senior production experience with large-scale, multi-platform games with live service components.
  • Experience leading teams from prototype to live.
  • Knowledge of various development methodologies (Agile, waterfall, etc.).
  • Experience in live games development and operations.
  • Deep understanding of games, gaming audiences, and the industry.
  • Ability to lead in collaborative, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management.
  • Proven product management and prioritization skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in AAA game development.
  • Experience in mobile game development.
  • Experience managing co-development or outsourcing relationships.
