• Make sure every hotel guest has a pleasant stay
• Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, room charges, and occupancy percentages
• Greet and assist guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a welcoming experience for all.
• Efficiently manage night operations, balancing accounts and handling guest inquiries with precision.
• Maintain accurate records of guest transactions and ensure all financial reports are completed by morning.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any guest concerns promptly.
• Monitor hotel security systems during the night shift to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests.
• Provide personalized recommendations for local attractions and dining options to enhance the guest experience.
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs smoothly, ensuring all billing and reservation details are accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required
• Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with computers is required; experience with reservation and accounting software is desired
• Requires a flexible schedule that allows for overnight shift hours
• Diploma or equivalent from high school is required; some college is desired
• Ability to manage financial records with precision, including room charges and credit card transactions.
• Proven track record of handling guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Proficiency in using hotel management software to maintain accurate guest and financial records.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Experience in monitoring security systems to ensure guest safety and comfort throughout the night.
