Hotel Guest Service Agent (OPEN AVAILABILITY) Location Harrisburg, PA :

Candlewood Suites, an extended stay hotel, looking for motivated Front Desk Agents with OPEN AVAILABILITY between 7a-3p and 3p-11p!

Guest Service Agents Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcomed.
• Administering check-ins and check-outs.
• Providing front desk services to guests.
• Assigning rooms and taking care of administrative duties.
• Processing guest payments.
• Accommodating general and unique requests.
• Act as the first point of contact for guest information
• Ensuring the lobby and front desk area is clean and presentable.
• Rolling over the day and emailing proper reports to management.

Experience with Opera PMS preferred but not required.

2nd Shift, overnight, and weekends required

Summary

As a Hotel Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, you will utilize your core skills in hospitality and guest relations to handle inquiries, manage reservations, and assist with check-ins and check-outs. Your proficiency in OPERA and multi-line phone systems will enhance operational efficiency. With an emphasis on guest satisfaction, your role is vital in creating memorable experiences for our visitors in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and experience in guest relations
• Proficiency in front desk operations and hotel management systems, specifically OPERA
• Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and effective phone etiquette
• Background in hospitality, with a focus on providing exceptional guest services
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet operational needs
• Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
