**Job Title: Plant Operations Assistant** **Job Description** The Plant Operations Assistant is responsible for operating manufacturing and packaging equipment under the guidance of the Production Supervisor. This role involves setting up equipment, ensuring product quality, and meeting production schedules. **Responsibilities** + Operate conveyor, shrink-wrap, and bagging equipment. + Hang, fill, and seal bags and shaker bottles of product. + Ensure the product is bagged with the correct blend and weight. + Place products on pallets according to specifications. + Assist in maintaining equipment, including cleaning production equipment and lines. + Maintain a clean and safe work area. + Perform other related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Basic math skills. + Ability to operate various types of machinery and equipment. + Mechanical and technical skills with exceptional problem-solving abilities. + Effective communication skills with co-workers and supervisors. + Ability to work independently and in a team environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Manufacturing preferred, but open to candidates from other industries such as restaurant. + Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. + Familiarity with the industrial setting and machine operation. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your skills will be valued and developed. The role requires standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, squatting, stacking, lifting, and walking for extended periods.
