The Saul Spielberg Early Childhood Center (SSECC) is a nurturing and inclusive learning community grounded in Jewish values and the belief that every child enters the world with unlimited potential and an innate desire to learn. Our mission is to cultivate creative, self-directed, and inquisitive learners by fostering a sense of belonging and encouraging exploration through developmentally appropriate, child-centered experiences.

Position Overview

In this role, you’ll work closely with the children to create fun, engaging learning experiences based on what they’re curious about. You’ll help guide their learning through play, creativity, and hands-on activities.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with young children, is open to learning, and wants to be part of a supportive, team-based environment. If you’re passionate about helping kids grow and explore the world around them, we’d love to hear from you!

Benefits

• $18.00 - $20.00 an hour, based on experience.
• 3 weeks PTO, plus paid time off for Federal Holidays and Jewish Holidays.

Qualifications

• Must love working with children.
• Willing to learn about child development and best practices in early childhood education.
• Familiarity or openness to learning/teaching about Jewish traditions, holidays, and values.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
