Internal Medicine Physician (IM) – Primary Care

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care to adult patients ages 18 and older
• Deliver preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and acute care
• Maintain a manageable patient volume of approximately 2 new patients or 3 established patients per hour
• No major psychiatric management or chronic pain management required
• Participate in a flexible schedule with options for 4 clinical days plus 1 administrative day or 4.5 clinical days plus 0.5 administrative day per week
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekends or hospital rounds
• Share light call responsibilities with the care team
• Utilize EMR (eClinicalWorks) with integrated e-prescribing and AI-powered dictation support
• Access in-office diagnostic services including ultrasound, DEXA, spirometry, EKG, lab, and phlebotomy
• Collaborate in a team-based environment with strong nursing and administrative support

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Active Georgia medical license or eligibility to obtain
• DEA registration
• 2-3 years of experience required
• Patient-centered philosophy and commitment to preventive medicine
• Desire for a long-term career with practice stability
