Job Description

TalentoHC is actively partnered with an enterprise level organization actively seeking a Procurement Analyst on a contract to hire basis to join the team.

The Procurement Analyst is responsible for overseeing the entire purchase order (PO) lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders for both EDI and non-EDI accounts. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and global partners to maintain efficient procurement workflows, meet customer expectations, and ensure compliance with vendor and internal requirements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in spreadsheets, and proactive in managing procurement tasks in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor PO submissions via company and EDI inboxes.
• Handle EDI mapping and order exports for assigned accounts; process non-EDI orders manually.
• Maintain the Procurement master order tracker to reflect accurate customer and vendor order statuses.
• Follow customer-specific vendor requirements (e.g., labeling, packaging).
• Prepare templates for bulk order processing.
• Verify product details across various systems to ensure complete PO information.
• Analyze inventory to allocate POs effectively, offering alternatives when needed.
• Adhere to brand-specific requirements during PO processing.
• Review and manage open PO reports, escalating issues when necessary.
• Participate in open PO calls to resolve order processing blockers.
• Work closely with teams including product development, planning, sales, and order management.
• Navigate complex vendor allocation rules to generate accurate purchase orders.
• Coordinate with Asia-based merchandisers to resolve PO issues and meet delivery timelines.
• Confirm timely vendor shipments and offer support across other accounts when required.
• Assist the manager with additional procurement-related tasks.
