Join Our Team as a Rail Terminal Operator!

What You'll Do:

• This role combines the responsibilities of a Hostler Driver and Ground Person. You will learn to operate a jockey truck, maneuvering 53ft trailers, containers, and chassis around the rail yard.
• Engage in various ground duties, including climbing on and off railcars, securing tracks, and handling inner box connectors (IBC's).
• Assist crane operators with equipment loading and unloading using hand signals.
• Play a key role in stacking and unstacking chassis, as well as loading and unloading chassis racks.
• Fulfill other assigned duties in a dynamic and team-oriented work environment.

Shift:

• 5pm shift (Training on day shift)

Yearly Average Pay:

• $45,000-$60,000 with overtime included
• Mandatory Overtime

Requirements:

• Preferred, but not required: Experience working outdoors, long hours, and driving larger vehicles
• A valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass a drug test and an IPCS Physical Strength Test
• No GED or diploma required
• Strong Communication Skills required
• Additional requirements will be discussed during the interview process

This position is perfect for individuals with backgrounds in warehouse work, delivery driving, CDL or non-CDL driving, outdoor labor, landscaping, physical labor, heavy equipment operation, and railyard work.

You will be employed by Pacific Rail Services and not by the Railroad.
