Work Hours: Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join a growing energy services company. This role involves servicing, installing, and maintaining LP propane appliances and tanks for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, customer-focused, and comfortable working in various outdoor conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and service LP propane appliances, tanks, and equipment.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair propane systems, including identifying and repairing leaks.
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspections of propane equipment.
Respond to customer requests, including emergency service calls for insufficient or no heat.
Ensure compliance with all municipal and safety guidelines.
Maintain service vehicle cleanliness and conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Lift and carry equipment up to 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and reaching.
Travel within the assigned service area and adapt to seasonal and weather conditions.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a service technician installing, maintaining, or repairing equipment or systems.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement and a clean driving record.
Current DOT Medical Card.
Preferred Qualifications:
CETP Certification.
Experience with MS Office and Outlook.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.
