Job Description
Genesis Staffing is currently seeking a site manager for a Landfill/Transfer Station in Nokomis, FL. This is a full-time, direct hire opening with a great company!
Applicants MUST have previous experience working at a Transfer Station Or LandfillSite Supervisor
- Supervise employees on daily tasks and improvements
- Review equipment inspection reports daily
- Become knowledgeable of operation plans, county contract
- Maintain site and employee safety
- Become knowledgeable of recyclable materials and how to process materials
- Deliver monthly/weekly safety meetings
- Maintain good county relations
- Computer skills to Input Daily tonnage, Revenue, and Recycling spreadsheets
- Close communication with the general manager
- Maintain facility infrastructure
- Produce monthly tonnage reports
- Follow company policies and procedures, and be able to adapt to changes
Qualifications
- Experience operating equipment such as a loader, an excavator, and a dump truck is preferred. Proficiency in using a horizontal grinder is a plus
- Must be self-driven and safety-oriented
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, county, and supervisor is essential
- Strong problem-solving skills are required
- knowledgeable in equipment maintenance
- Supervisory experience is necessary
- Goal-oriented mindset is crucial for this role
