School Transportation Driver — Part Time

Pay: $20–$22 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking responsible and dependable drivers with a passion for safety and customer service to join our team. As a school transportation driver, you will transport students to and from school and other designated locations while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport students along assigned routes.

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle interior.
• Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and management as needed.
• Complete required daily logs and reports.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Connecticut driver’s license with a V (van) or S (school bus) endorsement.

• Must have held a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Punctual, reliable, and professional demeanor.
• Previous experience driving students or passenger transportation is preferred but not required.

Schedule

Part-time: Average 30–35 hours per week.

• Flexibility is a must, due to last minute changes.
