Job Description

About High Scale

We’re High Scale — a future-focused, data-obsessed agency revolutionizing video advertising on TV and social media. Think Amazon’s obsession with customer experience meets SpaceX’s fearless ambition—that’s the DNA behind everything we do.

Our 120-person team of creatives, strategists, and innovators produces thousands of high-impact campaigns weekly for the world’s leading lifestyle, fashion, beauty, and DTC brands. With 50,000 sq. ft. of DTLA studios and a global influencer network, we’re ready to 10x our output in 2025—and we need a Studio Production Manager who can run our physical production engine at warp speed.

Why This Role Matters

Efficiency, output, and operational excellence are your playground. As the Studio Production Manager, you are mission control for our 50,000 sq. ft. DTLA production facility. You are the bridge between ambitious creative ideas and flawless on-set execution. You’ll manage the stages, the crews, the gear, and the schedules, turning our 10x output goal into a physical reality.

Your work will directly impact our production velocity, creative quality, and ability to scale. If you thrive on building and running a high-velocity production machine , this is your launchpad.

What You’ll Do

  1. Own Studio Operations
    • Manage all scheduling, logistics, and operations for our 50,000 sq. ft. multi-stage studio.

    • Oversee all in-house production equipment, prop, and wardrobe inventory, managing check-outs and returns.

    • Maintain relationships with production vendors (rentals, catering, etc.) and manage all studio-related purchasing.

  2. Coordinate On-Set Production
    • Handle all pre-production and on-set logistics for multiple, simultaneous in-studio shoots.

    • Source, book, and manage on-set crews (DPs, Gaffers, Grips, PAs, etc.).

    • Create and distribute call sheets, manage production schedules, and ensure shoots run on time.

  3. Manage Budgets & Logistics
    • Track and manage physical production budgets for in-house shoots.

    • Handle all necessary COIs (Certificates of Insurance) and permits as needed.

    • Ensure all assets are captured and delivered to the post-production team correctly.

  4. Develop & Optimize Workflows
    • Build, implement, and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for studio use, asset management, and on-set protocols to maximize efficiency, safety, and output.

Who You Are

  1. A Proven Production Pro
    • 3–6 years of experience in on-set production management, studio operations, or line producing, ideally in a fast-paced agency or commercial environment.

    • You have a deep understanding of on-set roles, equipment, and workflows.

  2. Logistics-Obsessed & Meticulous
    • You can juggle multiple shoots, call sheets, crews, and deadlines without breaking a sweat.

    • You are a master of details, from budget lines to equipment lists.

  3. A Clear & Confident Communicator
    • You can command a set, manage a crew, and clearly communicate status updates to internal executives.

    • You are professional, direct, and collaborative.

  4. Calm & Adaptable Under Pressure
    • You thrive in the fast-paced, high-growth environment of a live set.

    • You are a natural problem-solver who anticipates issues and pivots gracefully.

  5. Systems-Driven
    • You are proficient in budgeting and project management tools.

    • You are always looking for ways to build a smarter, faster, and more efficient production system.

Perks & Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: $50,000/year

  • Growth Opportunities: Influence the growth of High Scale and scale top-tier campaigns for global brands.

  • Relentless Innovation Culture: Move fast, test constantly, and collaborate with some of the most creative minds in social media and video production.

High Scale is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and believe it’s key to building teams that change the world—one breakthrough campaign at a time.
