Position Overview

As our Bespoke Menswear Stylist, you will be at the forefront of our client interactions, offering personalized styling consultations and guiding clients through the journey of creating their unique wardrobe. You will blend fashion expertise with a deep understanding of tailoring techniques, ensuring that each client receives a tailored experience that meets their style, fit, and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Consultations:
• Conduct personalized, one-on-one styling sessions to understand clients’ lifestyle, preferences, and wardrobe needs.
• Develop customized style profiles and provide expert advice on garment choices, fabric selection, and accessories.

• Design & Tailoring Collaboration:
• Work closely with our design and tailoring teams to translate client visions into bespoke garments.
• Oversee fittings and coordinate alterations to ensure every piece meets our high standards of craftsmanship.

• Trend Analysis & Inspiration:
• Stay abreast of current trends, designer collections, and emerging technologies in tailoring.
• Curate seasonal style recommendations that merge contemporary trends with timeless elegance.

• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and nurture lasting relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain a portfolio of client work and style projects to inspire future consultations.

• Industry Engagement:
• Represent Hive & Colony at fashion events, industry shows, and networking opportunities.
• Share insights and contribute to our brand’s evolving aesthetic and market presence.

Qualifications

• Experience:
• Proven background as a menswear stylist, tailor, or similar role in the fashion industry.
• Demonstrable experience in bespoke tailoring and client-focused style consultancy.

• Expertise:
• Deep knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and tailoring techniques.
• Strong aesthetic sense with the ability to integrate current trends with classic menswear principles.

• Interpersonal Skills:
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• A client-first mindset with a commitment to excellence and attention to detail.

• Additional Assets:
• Familiarity with design software and client management tools.
• Relevant degree or certification in fashion design, tailoring, or a related field is preferred but not required with proven industry experience.
