Job Description

In this Role, You will...

• Define product requirements and roadmap for agentic AI solutions that automate and optimize operational workflows across engineering, fleet operations, or business functions
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, software teams, and operations stakeholders to identify high-impact automation opportunities and translate them into product specifications
• Conduct user research and data analysis to measure efficiency gains, validate solution effectiveness, and iterate on agent capabilities
• Build prototypes, write technical specifications, and create go-to-market plans for AI agent deployments
• Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional leadership teams

Requirements

• Currently working towards a M.B.A.
• Good academic standing
• Able to commit to a 12-week internship beginning in May or June of 2026
• At least one previous industry internship, co-op, or project completed in a relevant area
• Ability to relocate to the Bay Area, California for the duration of the internship
• Interns at Zoox may not use any proprietary information they are working on as part of their thesis, any published work with their university, or to be distributed to anyone outside of Zoox

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, particularly LLMs, agentic frameworks, and automation technologies
• Experience with product management tools (Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar)
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis; Python experience a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making

Bonus Qualifications

• Previous technical product management internship at a technology company
• Prior experience building or shipping AI-powered products or features
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI, etc.)
• Experience in operations, logistics, or autonomous vehicle domains
• Coursework or projects in human-computer interaction, AI safety, or prompt engineering

Compensation

The monthly salary range for this position is $5,500 to $7,500. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level of education. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, and a housing stipend (relocation assistance will be offered based on eligibility).
