Department: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU - Recovery)
Shift: 07:00 19:30, Monday to Friday (3x12-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 36
Athena Medtech is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) team. This role is essential in providing high-quality, post-operative care to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:Implement, monitor, and adjust individualized patient care plans.
Monitor and document patient conditions; communicate any changes appropriately.
Act as the primary coordinator for interdisciplinary care to ensure seamless and effective treatment.
Execute physician and nursing orders promptly and accurately.
Assess patients' needs for discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Current RN license (in applicable state).
ICU experience required.
Prior experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center PACU strongly preferred.
Experience in inpatient PACU and pediatric (PEDS) recovery highly desired.
Proficiency with NIH Stroke Scale assessment.
